LifeEnergy Systems was founded simultaneously in Germany and Canada in 1992 with the aim of researching and developing healthy lighting systems for people, plants and animals and introducing them onto the world market.
The founder of the company, Scheid Mumtaz, has always been aware of the importance of nature and especially sunlight for our mental and physical wellbeing, our health and our souls. He is also conscious that our modern lifestyle does not allow us to spend enough time outdoors and in natural surroundings.
During his many years of research his aim has therefore been to find a way of introducing as many people as possible to the enjoyment of healthy indoor lighting which incorporates the most important qualities of natural sunlight. He has been grateful for opportunities to share and enrich his experiences with people like Dr. John Ott (author of "Effects of Unnatural Light"), Dr. Jacob Liebermann (author of "Light – Medicine of the Future"), Dr. Norman E. Rosenthal (author of "Winter Blues"), Dr. Zane R. Kime (author of "Sunlight Could Save Your Life"), Prof. Fritz-Albert Popp, Dr. Fritz Hollwich and Heinrich Wendel, several of whom he got to know personally.
The family business LifeEnergy Systems is run by the companyÂ’s founder Scheid Mumtaz together with his son Sascha Mumtaz, who has been working for the company since 1999. The business in Canada is run by Tariq Mumtaz, brother of the founder of the company.
The LifeEnergy organisation considers that its main tasks lie in developing new ideas, looking for suitable partners to implement these ideas and subsequently check the quality of the products manufactured under the LifeLite® and LifeEnergy trademarks, as well as coordinating sales and at the same time seeking new markets worldwide.
Today the innovative LifeEnergy lighting systems, LifeLite® full spectrum daylight energy-saving light bulbs and LifeLite® full spectrum daylight fluorescent tubes ensure the wellbeing of people, plants and animals in many of the worldÂ’s countries – especially in countries that suffer from lack of sunlight.
After many years of research and development work, the company LifeEnergy Systems has succeeded in developing a spectrum which has never before been achieved and which is almost identical to that of natural sunlight. In particular this work has been made possible by the firmÂ’s relationship with its partner company LifeEnergy Systems Inc. in North America, the country where full spectrum daylight lighting originated.
